TL;DR:

  • The newest presentation AI tools are impressive and can generate whole slide decks in seconds from a single prompt.

  • But most slide makers can either create elaborate text OR beautiful presentations. They can only excel at either content or design, not both.

  • Gamma stands out as the clear leader by perfectly combining text generation, formatting, design, and image creation from simple prompts.

Why you can trust me and how I tested the tools

As the former president of the International Toastmasters Lisboa, I've seen and evaluated tons of speeches and presentations. For my own Toastmasters path, I had to hold ten; some were good, and some I could have done better. For slides, it's a fine line between not overloading the audience with information and still giving enough so it's easy to follow even dates and numbers. Given my expertise, I was extra critical when evaluating the best AI presentation makers for 2026.

I’m reviewing AI tools since October 2023 and I’ve seen the beginnings of the AI boom. Presentations and AI tools together are basically my home base!

What AI Presentation Makers Can Do Today

Today’s AI-powered slide generators will handle at least half of the work for you. Really! Their AI capabilities are incredibly powerful - they can generate text and images while formatting presentations optimally, so you can focus on adding your unique insights instead of fumbling around with design. These three basics are non-negotiable for me for a good presentation maker: Text generation, image generation, and formatting.

Text generation was a feature from the beginning, but now advanced tools have integrated image generators. Just add your desired image style in your prompt at the beginning and AI will consider it for the full design and format everything together perfectly (ideally at least).

By the way, this is how I would always use AI tools: Create a first draft and structure, then add unique insights and change pictures or designs to make it your own.

More advanced tools offer analytics that let you see where people dropped off, and some can translate the full deck easily with AI.

Gamma has launched the first AI agent and it’s incredibly powerful. For my test I’ve uploaded my brand guidelines as a PDF and the agent simply applied them to the full presentation. I literally just had to prompt this once and it changed colours, fonts and the overall look on every slide. This is my favorite new AI toy and by far the most advanced technology for slide makers right now. I’ve added how this looks in the video below for Gamma.

How I Tested the Best Presentation Makers

I place special emphasis on the AI generation capabilities because that's the ultimate lever that can save small businesses the most time.

I will give every presentation software the same prompt "AI Tools for SMEs". I want to see if they can create meaningful content and add relevant images, diagrams, and graphics within an overall good design. This straightforward prompt serves as an excellent benchmark because it requires the AI to understand business context and also leaves lots of room to go astray. Then I rate the tool based on these markers:

  • Tool Performance: How good is the presentation it generated on its own or how many changes would be needed by a human for it to be great?

  • User Experience: Here I look for how advanced the tool is already and special features like an AI agent that can make working more efficient I will rate highly. Speed is a factor.

  • Setup/Onboarding: How fast can new customers get started, is the interface and navigation clear and is a credit card required for the free trial (which is meh).

Also, check out our Testing Methodology and Editorial Policy if you want to know more about how we test tools and make sure we always stay unbiased.

Conclusion

Gamma is the best in it's class because it is able to create whole slide decks from a very simple prompt (in our test it was "AI Tools for SMEs") and excels at both: creating elaborate content AND incredible design.
Every other tool in this AI tool category struggles to deliver both on an equally strong level.

Now with their newly launched Agent feature, they catapulted themselves even further ahead of the competition. This integrated agent can scan the internet for relevant info, include data from attachments and even help improve design.
Gamma has by far the most advanced AI and has been the industry leader for a while now (ever since I tested it first 2 years ago). I really appreciate the ChatGPT4 integration for text and Flux for generating images. You can also create social media post or websites easily with Gamma.

I've added the presentation it created by one single prompt for me here below (I've literally not changed anything) and I really love the quality of this.
While I typically recommend monthly subscriptions for AI tools, Gamma has established such clear dominance in the presentation AI category that I'm making an exception. No other tool comes close to matching their capabilities, and this leadership position shows no signs of changing anytime soon. Given that their annual Pro plan offers a 25% discount, I recommend choosing the yearly option if you regularly create presentations, social media content, or simple websites.

Best feature: AI Agent, which is a real game changer especially for adding content from various sources. Will independently suggest relevant information to add to your slides or website.

AI capabilities: Can create a full slide deck with elaborate content and design for you. Its AI Agent feature adds insights from uploaded documents and links. Integration of the newest image generators and can create exactly the style you want.

For who is Gamma?: Small business owners, agencies (Gamma’s API lets you create personalized presentations in bulk ), startups for pitch deck, teachers. And anyone else who needs a simple website.

Deck design: Advanced. Either prompt the style you want or choose between flashy templates. Change images easily if you want something else.

Conclusion

When I tested Decktopus, I wasn't particularly impressed right away. The design capabilities seemed rather basic because the formatting looked a bit dull. But then I was positively surprised by its AI capabilities. Let's discuss the created presentation first: Text generation is solid but basic, and the images match well with the topic. All content is relevant and fits perfectly with the AI Tools SME theme from the prompt - it even suggested a few tools. This alone would put it into the middle range for me, next to tools like Sketchbubble or Slidespeak. However, when I tested their AI features, they went beyond the tools I mentioned and put Decktopus into a different category for me: the top tier of AI presentation tools. Not quite as premium as Gamma, but really good! AI Capabilities: Decktopus has an AI image generator that works quite well—it followed my prompt nicely when I asked it to put a cyborg among a small office team. The ""Translate My Deck"" is a feature many competitors advertise but don't deliver on (looking at you, Prezi). Decktopus does it literally with one click. The formatting needed a bit of adjusting, but this still saves so much time! The Q&A generator also did a good job, creating only highly relevant questions. I just wish I could implement them within the deck with a click. Standout feature: For me, it's really the AI under its hood, which delivers what it promises despite looking a bit unremarkable at first. Even the smart presentation tips were on-point and relevant. Decktopus is not quite challenging Gamma, but definitely Pitch, Prezi and Chatslide. Therefore I put it ahead of them.

Conclusion

Skywork is more like an AI Agent also outputting its info into slide form, rather than the other way of primary being an AI presentation maker. It can also output info in html code or even as a podcast, therefore I'm also adding it to the AI agent comparison. I tested the AI presentation generator feature and I really like the content, very profound and on point. But as often the design could be much more appealing and engaging. Every slide follows the same structure without images, graphics or diagrams. It's still better designed than some other tools in my top 10 though. Another feature I tested is the Document Agent which I found more impressive. I gave it a 60 slide pages presentation and asked to summarize the content for a blog post with 1000 words, mentioning a specific keyword 8 times. The output was pretty perfect, Skywork even added images from the original presentation in the right places and really followed all my instructions. Lastly I was curious about the podcast generation feature and gave it my usual prompt ""AI Tools for SMEs"" as the only instructions. What it created is a 7 minute podcast with two speakers introducing various AI tools and discussing their benefits. I think this would work really well if I gave it a document to work off of, because this way it's good, but of course a bit AI slop (not the tool's fault). Best feature: The AI Agent overall because it works so well for so many different areas (also see below). AI capabilities: Very advanced, the whole interface is a mix of LLM and coding assistant, as it outputs everything also in code form for us and we could just prompt it to make changes within. Also the variety of capabilities of the AI agent are really cool: Document reader (and creator), Slide creator, Sheets, AI developer, Podcast and YouVibe plus professional Data enhancer. Plus, you can even schedule tasks with Skywork. For who is Skywork: It's probably best for people who require outputs in code mainly or for content creators who have their own content already but want to re-produce it in different formats Deck design: Rather weak, compared to Gamma or Pitch, this is really not its strong suit.

Conclusion

I'm very curious when I first test Chatslide because it boasts about not having templates, nor limits.
And I'm positively surprised that it works great. I'm especially impressed by the generated copy which dives deeper into the content than most AI slide makers do. What Chatslide has picked up on earlier than most AI presentation makers, is the integration of AI Avatars to actually present the slides.
So all in all, it's not my favorite tool regarding design, but ChatSlide is great for deep dives and people who don't want to gather and research everything themselves. Or who prefer for an avatar to present their deck.

Best feature: AI avatars for presenting your slides

AI capabilities: Can create a slide deck based on a prompt and let AI avatars present it for you.

For who is Chatslide?: Anyone who wants to transform documents and other data into slides.

Deck design: Not its strong suite.

Conclusion

Prezi has a completely different approach to creating presenations with AI. I like to call it the Miro board for slides,
because each slide is a mosaic of the full picture. You can zoom in and out as you like, it makes the presentation feel much more interactive and engaging. Pretty cool!

Lately I've also been using Prezi for recording my online courses because it allows me to read off the screen and be surrounded of the presentation at the same time. It's super easy to record myself this way and I don't have to set up a teleprompter anymore. Check out the picture I've added on the left side. Prezi is best for advanced presenters in my opinion.

Best feature: The dynamic slide structure (mosaic feature)

AI capabilities: Full side deck based on a prompt, with solid text generation but especially good design.

For who is Prezi?: Experienced presenters who want to keep their audience engaged and are looking for a fresh new approach. Also great for creating video courses, because it lets you record and see yourself within your own presentation, so you can easily read off the screen and still keep yourself in check.

Deck design: Prezi's slides are like a mosaic you can zoom in and out of, each particle is a slide which assembles to a full picture when zoomed out. Very nice, modern and harmonious designs.

Conclusion

Pitch looks really great, I can tell that designers have created it. The dashboard is clean and easy to get around or started. I also like their onboarding guide, although I think they explain too obvious things, like how to change the colour of a font, which is very obvious.
I like their more playful features, for example that I can add Gifs easily, but I would prefer to generate images straight in the tool.
Overall I'm missing the AI in pitch and I would say it's the tool for people who still like to format and design their own styles. Or for agencies who know they prefer to control the content creation but would like to batch create many slides with individual customisation.

Best feature: Team collaboration in real time.

AI capabilities: Very basic text generation capabilities, no image generator but included images from their stock library fit the topics well.

For who is Pitch?: Designers, because Pitch has a nice simple style which designers will appreciate. Agencies because of their real time collaboration feature. And people who don't need elaborate text generation capabilities, because pitch generates very little text with the prompt-to-presentation feature.

Deck design: Nice and solid designs. Nothing mind blowing but neat and better colour choices than for example PresentationsAI.

Conclusion

Oh wow, I think I found a dime! Prezent is finally stepping up the presentation AI game. Although it doesn't cater to our audience of SMEs (Prezent is clearly targeting enterprises) I really wanted to include them in this list here. This what puts them apart: they think of presentations from the perspective of the viewer, not only the presenter. Their fingerprint feature leads all employees through a short quiz about their visual preferences during onboarding. Now presenters can choose the intended audiences who will get their slides delivered just in the way they like. This is a mind-blowing innovation to me. The other thing I really like about Prezent is their Storyline feature, which let's you choose from different proven storylines for presentations and also gives you a view to see the full presentation's main points.

Best feature: Fingerprint (see design) and Storyline feature. Storyline let's presenters choose between different proven story structures.

AI capabilities: Prompt to presentation is quite elaborate.

For who is Prezent?: Only for enterprises

Deck design: Will adjust the design to the preferences of to the viewer. When onboarding to Prezent, every team member goes through a questionaire to establish their "fingerprint" and will receive all decks according to their entries going forward.

Conclusion

Still Underwhelming. I've just re-tested Presentations AI and my impression is still the same as it was a couple of months back. The AI text generation capabilities are decent, but the design really lags. The slides look extremely basic, especially compared to Gamma or Prezi. You can only choose between 13 templates and the AI-generated slides look dull, often without graphics or images.

When the tool creates your deck, it asks about how many slides you want, but it's weird to me that the minimum is 10 slides. I think less is more at times.
I do like that it asks about the tone of voice it should use, though.

Best feature: Not really a feature, but that it's free.

AI capabilities: Can create a presentation based on a prompt with basic content.

For who is Presentations AI?: For users who are looking for a free option and don't mind the weaker designs. Students.

Deck design: Basic, some pages have no images or design elements at all. Sometimes questionable colour choices (definitely not created by a designer, hehe).

Conclusion

To test Slidebeans AI-driven pitch deck builder, I had to input my website's URL and the output was spot on. The pitch deck started off with a problem/solution intro, here the content was added by Slidebean. The next slides were templates for business model, roadmap, traction (diagram), team and total addressable market, for which the content has to be added by the business owner.
I shall forgive that the copy at times went out of the frame, Slidebean was just so ambitiously researching facts for my business, it went a bit overboard. The deck is neat and provides a great structure for funding requests. It's pretty clear that this is only the lead generator for Slidebean, who also offer an Investor Finder, 1:1 sessions and start up equity modulator. I've been receiving Slidebeans newsletter for a while now and really appreciate their AI news.
Interesting to see that they also let you review famous company's pitch decks, like for example from Uber and Air BnB.

Best feature: Offer financial modelling services alongside their pitch deck creator.

AI capabilities: The 'pitch deck with AI' feature scans your website and creates a good structure for a pitch deck tailored to your company. It fills some of the contents and provides templates for data only the business owner would knows like projected earnings etc.
Images could be matched better. For example for my deck it added mostly interior designs.

For who is Slidebean?: Startups and individuals who want to request funding.

Deck design: Solid and neat. Better than PresentationsAI, Slidespeak or Canva. Worse than Gamma or Prezi.

This tool comes along looking a bit old school, at least the website design could use an upgrade.
But then it's a pleasant surprise and generates great slides with highly relevant content. I mostly focused on the free AI presentation maker for my review and only had a quick look at their 200K slide templates (well, only at a fraction of them).

Conclusion

I'm surprised by how weak canvas AI presentation capabilities are. I tested it with my usual prompt "AI Tools for SMEs" which is admittedly very simple, but that's exactly what I want to see. How much will the tool fill into the big space I give it?
Canva created a very basic deck for me, with basic text but even more basic designs. The text is forgivable, but the design is not for a design tool. If I compare Canva's designs to Gamma or Pitch, it's clearly lagging behind and should have done a much better job. Even though Canva has an image generator app, it clearly doesn't use it for this feature. It just matched some mediocre stock photography. And the slide design itself is the most disappointing for me, it's just so boring and bleak.

Best feature: Tone of voice feature: Just enter a longer text so that the tool can detect your personal style. You can do that for multiple voices, for example for an agency with different clients.
AI capabilities: Very basic. Creates really simple texts but you can create your own tone of voice so that the tool can hit the mark.
Formats the deck correctly, but the presentation feature doesn't seem to be hooked up to their image generator app (which is rather basic anyways), so it only adds rather immature stock photography.

For who is Canva?:SMEs who already have a canva subscription and social media creators.

Deck design: Surprisingly basic, given that Canva is a design toolbox. I usually love Canva, but this is an area it doesn't do itself justice. You have to cling to templates to get flashy presentations, as it will not put them together itself.

Conclusion

SlideSpeak has some strong AI capabilities in theory, but when I prompted it to create a presentation about "AI tools for SMEs" it missed the mark and generated a presentation only about AI tools in general. Other tools like Gamma don't seem to have a problem with this. Also I find the presentation design quite boring and basic.

Best feature: Chat function during deck creation which helps expanding or tightening your deck.

AI capabilities: Can generate slides based on a prompt or documents. No AI image generator.

For who is Slidespeak?: Maybe a more technical audience would the scarce designs.

Deck design: Rather weak. Adds few design elements and images, and formatting isn't optimal or makes even sense on some of the slides.

Conclusion

Pop.AI is struggling with matching the generated content to the right formatting and graphics. E.g. it matched the 'Considerations for choosing an AI tool' to a funnel, which really doesn't make sense. Designs are rather basic and loading times long. I'm still giving it some plus points because it is capable to generate relevant text to my topic, which most tools are not capable of.

Conclusion

This tool is clearly focussing on the content creation part much more on creating beautiful slides. For my taste maybe a bit too much (I love pretty stuff). But I have to give it that the text it generated went beyond what other tools provide. Other than that I would wish for more features and more templates.

Conclusion

Mentimeter is not a typical AI ppt generator because of its very limited AI capabilities. My rating isn't too strong because I felt very much left alone in the process of creating a presentation and I don't like the templates. This tool very much caters to the enterprise level and I'm sure it makes sense for live presentations, but for SMEs it's rather useless.

Conclusion

Slidesgo AI presentation maker is a very easy-to-use tool, especially for Canva clients. It almost feels like a Canva clone, the interface is too much of a replica of it. The AI generated presentation's content made sense, but the overall outcome is very old school and cheesy. And I've chosen the futuristic template, which is quite ironic. I think this is a good tool for students who don't want to research a topic for their next presentation, but not a serious contender to our top 3 tools Gamma, Prezi and Pitch.

Conclusion

Please excuse my sarcasm, but Powerpoint is only a good option for you, if you : 1. like to work with various apps in different places and are not a fan integrated features to make your life easier, you should go with powerpoint. 2. If you really don't want to get used to a new design and were happy with the look of the 90s. Otherwise, there are so many options where the AI integration actually happens within the tool and you don't have to switch to another application and copy and paste continuously.

For who is Powerpoint?: Users of MS office, and fans of old school apps ;)

Deck design: I'm not sure Microsoft works with Designers...

Well, the name is a bit of an exaggeration to be honest. The slides look as if my dad used his old templates (sorry Dad). The onboarding guide got stuck, so what you see on the picture above is good advice, but bad functionality. Also, I was not able to identify the AI feature, except for of course in the name.

Conclusion

This tool is great for people who really don't care for the presentation to look nice, because it really doesn't add any design elements at all. The slides look like an old word document. But I have to say that if you are 100% focused on content only, this tool is doing a good job. But I'm afraid that this no design approach doesn't pass in any industry in the 2020s anymore.

Conclusion

Tome makes it clear from the beginning, their AI presentation maker is intended for sales and marketing teams, not for SMEs or personal use. I have to be honest, I wasn't able to test the AI features, because they are not available on the free trial. Which I can't recommend honestly, because it's very limited and the templates feel so much like "big modern cold cooperation". Everything works decently, but I don't like the presentation I created because of the tile build-up. But then I'm also not working for a big modern cold cooperation.

Conclusion

Adobe Express is an easy to use, which was clearly inspired by Canva's interface. It's solid in its performance and if you are generally used to working with Adobe, I would stick with it. If you are more of a Canva type, stick with that. Important to note that it has very limited AI capabilities for content creation, so for me this is more of a design/banner tool than a presentation AI.

Use the Presentation Makers For So Much More Than Just Creating Slides!

Create also

  • Social media carousels: Save tons of time by adding your notes and letting AI create slides with relevant images and formulated content. Gamma has an extra feature for this.

  • Lead magnets: Use presentation makers for lead magnets

  • Online courses: Use Prezi for creating online courses and record yourself within the presentation - it's much easier reading from the screen than a teleprompter

  • Film pitch decks: The best AI tools help create the synopsis and outline of your deck, then add your own images to transport the mood

Overarching categories for AI Powerpoint Makers:

  1. Broad non-specific topics (-> presentations for school)

  2. Customized content (-> presentation for work)

The first applies, e.g., to students with a simple assignment: present a broad topic, for which there is typically lots of information online. Here, use AI for an outline and let it generate slides in seconds for you as a base. It could practically put an AI-generated presentation together for you, which is customizable and you just have to check if it makes sense.

For the second use case, a professional setting, let's take the example of having to convince your boss of a bigger brand budget for the next quarter. In this instance, of course, AI wouldn't be able to create the presentation for you yet, because its missing too much context. But, e.g., presentation maker Gamma can still assist you with formatting, a good template, adding relevant pictures and graphs, or translating all slides into another language.

This was our review of best AI to create presentations with. I hope you agree with me that the future looks bright! Many innovative and flashy ideas on how to make the process of putting a good presentation together easier for you. Not everything worked perfectly, but as AI is improving and outgrowing its baby years, so will the companies above.

My bet is that Gamma and Prezi will win the presenter’s hearts over with their slides AI if they know just as well how to build a startup as they do to build great software in the long run.

AI Presentation Software - FAQ

Which is the best AI presentation maker?

We found Gamma well ahead of all the other presentation maker AI tools. Gamma was able to generate a whole presentation based on just one prompt, while other tools were promising much more than delivered.

Our second favorite tool is Prezi, which has a very modern and refreshing approach and reminds me more of a Miro board than a classical presentation. This makes leading through a story or pitch deck much more engaging.

Which AI Presentation Maker is best for small businesses?

Again, we would recommend to go with Gamma because of its strong AI capabilities and versatility. You can use Gamma to generate slides, but also social media content of website. The integrated text and image generators are best in class. Formatting and design are superb and there is nothing left to desire. Especially agencies will benefit from their API connection when generating customizable presentations in bulk, for example to send out for lead generation.

They have also integrated an AI agent that helps gather information and will make unprompted suggestions to improve your deck. We tested these new features and were surprise how well it works. All suggestions were extremely relevant and on point. Also, we were able to add documents which the AI agent considered for adding content. Overall an incredible service for small businesses which is hard to beat by other tools so far.

Are AI presentation makers free?

Most tools offer a generous free trials, we've added this info in each tools review, e.g. Prezi gives you 500 AI credits and Gamma 400. Additionally you can even use Gamma's integrated image generator for free, but after the credits have been used up or the trial period ends, most tools charge a fee. Especially if you want to use presentation generators with AI capabilities AND a good design, it makes sense to go with a professional tool.

What's the best free AI presentation maker?

As mentioned above, even the best presentation apps offer generous free packages which should allow you to generate at least 10 presentations before you have to pay. If you want quality over quantity, we recommend to go with Gamma. But if you want to create many decks for free and you are not too fussed with the design, PresentationAI is a good alternative.

PresenationAI offers one completely free version, which is a bit limited in features and the design is quite weak, but worth a try, since it generally performed quite good in our review. Also Adobe Express has a free plan available but we found it rather mediocre due to its limited AI capabilities. Imagine it more like Canva with limited features than an a professional presentation generator that creates all text and the whole presentation for you.

Is there an AI that can make presentations and slides?

Yes! There are definitely AI tools that can create an ideal deck for you. These AI presentation generators will literally do at least half the heavy lifting. What makes them so powerful is their ability to generate compelling text, create unique images, and handle all the formatting automatically - letting you focus on adding your personal insights rather than wrestling with design elements. I consider these three capabilities essential. They are always presentation templates based, which simplifies the presentation process immensely.

While some AI presentation tools overpromise and underdeliver, others can actually build an entire presentation from just one prompt. Tools like Gamma and Prezi excel at this, while others like Pitch and Slidebean offer their own standout features that make them worth considering.

The more sophisticated options, particularly Gamma, offer bonus features like one-click slide translation - a game-changer for international businesses. These same users love the built-in analytics that show exactly which parts of presentations engage audiences and which sections get skipped.

Bottom line: these AI tools can build complete slide decks from a simple prompt, managing both the content writing and visual design to make presentation creation remarkably fast and efficient.

Which AI presentation maker is easiest for beginners?

Generally these tools are super easy to handle, even if you are not very accustomed to working with AI. Especially if you want to use the AI slide generator feature, where AI will assemble the whole presentation for you, it will be eay. You can add a simple prompt, our example prompt is just “AI Tools for SMEs” and it will usually show you an outline which you can make changes too. You’ll be offered a template selection and have to determine the final number of slides for the deck. This way, in less than a minute users are able to create a full presentation with AI. And of course, also in the final presentation, nothing is set in stone.

If you want to get started quickly, Gamma is the easiest for newcomers, while tools like Prezent are made for more advanced users and enterprises, so the learning curve is a bit steep.

Is there an AI that can improve powerpoint or google slides?

Sure, if you prefer to work with more traditional presentation tools like powerpoint or google slide presentations, try PlusAI to enhance your deck. But compared to other AI presentation software, its quite limited in its features.

Which AI presentation maker has the best designs?

Prezi has the best designs with extremely modern and stylish templates. Through its Miro-like feature (imagine it like a mosaic image which you can zoom in and out of), the presentation works as a whole where each slide is visually just as appealing as together as one. They have created truely unique templates, far off from any Powerpoint design crimes.

Which AI tool creates the best presentations from text prompts?

Gamma creates the best presentations from text prompts. When we tested it with "AI Tools for SMEs," it gathered relevant information, generated unique images, and formatted everything incredibly well. Take a look above, we’ve added the whole deck for you.

Which AI presentation makers offer the best integrations?

Both Gamma and Prezi excel at integrations. Gamma's API connects to automation platforms like Zapier, Make, and Workato, giving you access to thousands of business apps including CRMs, databases, and project management tools. Prezi integrates with Slack for team collaboration, YouTube/Vimeo for multimedia content, and provides API access for CRMs and databases.

What's the most innovative AI presentation approach?

Three tools stand out for innovation: Prezi lets you take your audience through presentations with flexible zooming in and out, working like a mosaic of slides forming one bigger picture. Prezent creates 'fingerprints' with audience preferred visual styles and adjusts every presentation to recipients' liking for enterprise-level customization. ChatSlide offers presentations with AI avatar narration for unique delivery capabilities.

Which AI presentation maker works best for business meetings?

Prezi works best for business meetings because its dynamic zoom-in and zoom-out capabilities make it ideal for engaging business audiences and leading them through complex business narratives effectively.

What's the best AI presentation maker for agencies?

Gamma is perfect for agencies because its API connection lets it create multiple versions of one presentation personalized for each client. This makes it ideal for outreach campaigns and enables automated presentation creation at scale.

Which AI presentation tool is designed for enterprises?

Prezent is specifically designed for enterprises. It creates 'fingerprints' with audience preferred visual styles and adjusts every presentation to recipients' liking, making it perfect for enterprise-level customization.

What's the best AI presentation maker for teachers?

Prezi works best for teachers because its storytelling approach and educational content capabilities make it much easier for engaging students who are easily distracted during in-person classroom sessions.

Which AI presentation makers work best for students?

Gamma and PresentationsAI both work well for students. Gamma will do all the heavy lifting, but it's obvious that AI generated the presentation. PresentationsAI makes presentations look less professional but still does the work, which might be better for academic settings.

What's the best AI presentation tool for startups?

Slidebean is perfect for startups because it offers AI pitch deck software, a fundraising kit, and startup checklist for progress tracking, making it specifically designed for startup presentation needs.

Which AI presentation maker is best for online course creation?

Prezi is best for creating online courses because it allows recording yourself within the presentation, making it much easier than using traditional teleprompters when creating educational content.

What's the best AI presentation tool for content creators?

Gamma is ideal for content creators because it has an extra feature for creating social media carousels and can save tons of time by adding notes and letting AI create slides with relevant images and formulated content.

Can I make a presentation in minutes?

Yes, if your topic is rather broad, then the best presentation AI makers can create all slides literally in seconds. This is what we mean by the feature AI presentation maker which most of the tools in our comparison offer now.

But if your unique insights are required for more context or similar, you can just let AI create the outline and customize the presentation with your unique text. Or you start with your notes and let the AI-powered tool create the the deck based on that. Either approach is fine; the best AI presentation makers can go along.

What is the process of using AI to generate a deck?

If you want to generate text with AI and also leverage AI to handle design and formatting, you can simply choose the 'Create with AI' function, which the better tools offer nowadays. Just enter your topic, give it as much information as possible to let the AI engine work well for you.

AI quickly generates an outline for you, which you can tweak to your liking. In the next step you will have to choose a template and with one click your online presentation is already in the making. It will take a few seconds or minutes, depending on the tool until it's finished. Now you refine presentation and add own and unique insights. By the way: most tools offer AI free for 7 days at least or give credits. Try it, it's really fun and the technology is quite advanced already.

What is better: Gamma vs. Canva for slides?

Gamma really can create polished presentations in seconds and from just one single prompt. And the it actually made sense! Check out the complete presentation above. So we absolutely recommend Gamma over Canva.

We love Canva for everything except presentations. But to be honest, as an AI slide maker, we found it rather weak and it didn't even make it into the top 5. The Canva presentation templates are very basic, and we were not sure until the end what the AI part was actually in it.

Can I create a presentation with a video tool?

Sure, for example the Hubspot Clip Creator would be a simple tool to work with when creating a presentation video. It provides you with templates and offers generous 10 free videos.

What is better: Slidebean vs. Prezi?

Let’s say: it depends.

If you are ready for a refreshing new approach to presentations, Prezi is your tool. It reminded us more of a Miro board with a feature and allow to zoom in and out.

If you are a startup and want to use your presentations for pitches, Slidebean is your perfect fit. They offer AI pitch deck software, a fundraising kit and startup checklist for progress tracking. And we are great fans of their super informative newsletter.

Can I create a website from my presentation?

Two of the tools we’ve tested can also create a website from your presentation. These are Gamma and Canva. Both have a website builder feature. Just use this feature, but make sure to add links for all the important elements. Also checkout our AI website builder comparison.

Can ChatGPT create a PowerPoint presentation?

No, ChatGPT can currently not create an AI ppt yet or doesn’t have ai ppt maker capabilities. But it is very good at giving you an outline of the slides you should include in it. It also has a feature where it can read documents and therefore summarize the content.

How to upscale presentations for large-screen playback?

You can use VideoProc Converter AI to easily upscale your presentations to 4K with enhanced details. It also lets you improve image quality up to 8K, to make your slides look sharp and vibrant on any large screen.
