Imagine spending no more time on creating presentations, because AI will do the job for us. We’re not so far anymore. Companies like Prezi, Gamma, Pitch, Slidebean and Pop.AI, just to name my favorites, are here to make our lives easier.
Some of the AI tools for presentations I’ve tested can create whole presentations around one topic, like Gamma. Others can read information from your picture or document and work through it, like Pop.AI.
And Prezi leads your audience through the presentation with a more flexible view by zooming in and out.
I’ve tested each one of them extensively; here is a quick view of the ranking, check out the detailed comparison further down. The winners are:

Which is the best AI tool for presentations?
We found Gamma well ahead of all the other AI presentation tools. Gamma was able to generate a whole presentation based on just one prompt, while other tools were promising much more than delivered.
Our second favorite tool is Prezi, which has a very modern and refreshing approach and reminds me more of a Miro board than a classical presentation. This makes leading through a story or pitch much more engaging.
Can I use AI to make a presentation?
Absolutely! But be aware that many ai tools for presentations promise a lot, but deliver very low quality presentations or nothing at all. The only tool that didn’t have any bugs and was capable of generating a whole presentation was Gamma. But we are still very fond of various other tools as well like Prezi, Pitch and Slidebean.
What is better: Gamma vs. Canva?
Gamma really masters AI presentations; it generated the whole thing based on one prompt. And the presentation actually made sense! So we absolutely recommend Gamma.
We love Canva for everything except presentations (and video generation). But to be honest, as an AI presentation tool, we found it rather weak and gave it only the 7th place out of 8. The Canva presentation templates are very basic, and we were not sure until the end what the AI part is actually in it.
What is better: Slidebean vs. Prezi?
Let’s say: it depends.
If you are ready for a refreshing new approach to presentations, Prezi is your tool. It reminded us more of a Miro board with a feature that allows zooming in and out.
If you are a startup and want to use your presentations for pitches, Slidebean is your perfect fit. They offer AI pitchdeck software, a fundraising kit and startup checklist for progress tracking.

Many innovative and flashy ideas on how to make the process of putting a good presentation together easier for you. Not everything worked perfectly, but as AI is improving and outgrowing its baby years, so will the companies above.
My bet is that Gamma, Prezi and Pitch will win presenter’s hearts over with their slides AI if they know just as well how to build a startup as how to build great software on the long run.
