Slidebean Review – AI Pitch Decks That Need a Human Touch

To test Slidebean’s AI-driven pitch deck builder, I simply entered my website’s URL and was surprised by how accurate the results were. The pitch deck started with a clear problem and solution introduction, which Slidebean filled in automatically. After that, the next slides were ready-made templates for things like business model, roadmap, traction (with a diagram), team, and total addressable market. For these, I had to add my own information as the business owner. \### Slidebean Review: Structure and Usability Sometimes the text didn’t fit perfectly in the slide frames, but I didn’t mind too much. Slidebean was clearly trying to pull in as much relevant information as possible, and sometimes it just went a bit too far. The overall look of the deck was clean and easy to follow, which is great if you’re planning to use it for funding requests. It’s obvious that this tool is meant to get you interested in Slidebean’s other services, like their Investor Finder, one-on-one sessions, and their startup equity modulator. I’ve been getting the Slidebean newsletter for a while and always enjoy their updates about AI. \### Slidebean Review: Extra Features One thing I found interesting is that you can look at pitch decks from well-known companies, like Uber and Airbnb. This is a nice way to get ideas for your own deck. \### Best Feature: Financial Modelling The best part for me is that Slidebean offers financial modelling services along with the pitch deck creator. This is really helpful if you want to show investors your numbers in a clear way. \### AI Capabilities and Image Matching The “pitch deck with AI” feature scans your website and builds a solid structure for your pitch deck, tailored to your business. It fills in some of the content and gives you templates for things only you would know, like your projected earnings. I did notice that the images could be better matched to the business. For example, my deck ended up with a lot of interior design images, which didn’t really fit. Overall, Slidebean makes it easy to get started with a pitch deck, and the AI does a good job of setting up the basics. If you want a simple way to create a professional-looking deck, Slidebean is worth trying.
