Decktopus Review – Surprising AI Features Elevate a Basic Start

First Impressions: Design and Content

The text Decktopus creates is clear and fits the topic well, but it’s not fancy. The images it picks are on point and match the subject. Everything in the presentation was relevant to the AI Tools SME theme I used in my prompt. It even suggested some tools, which was a nice touch. At this stage, I would have put Decktopus in the same group as Sketchbubble or Slidespeak—good, but not special.

Decktopus Review: AI Features Stand Out

But then I tried the AI tools, and that’s when Decktopus started to shine. The AI image generator did exactly what I asked. For example, I wanted a cyborg in a small office team, and it made it happen. The “Translate My Deck” feature is also impressive. Many other tools say they can do this, but Decktopus actually does it with one click. I had to fix a few things in the layout, but it still saved me a lot of time.

Q&A and Smart Tips

The Q&A generator was another highlight. It made questions that were actually useful and matched the topic. I do wish there was a way to add these questions to the slides with just one click, but it’s still a helpful feature. The smart tips for presentations were also practical and made sense for what I was working on.

Decktopus Review: Where It Stands

The real strength of Decktopus is its AI. It might not look fancy at first, but it delivers on its promises. Even though it’s not quite at the level of Gamma, it’s definitely ahead of Pitch, Prezi, and Chatslide for me. In this Decktopus Review, I’d say it’s about 30% better than those tools, mostly because the AI features actually work and save time.
