Ideogram Review – Still Good for Beginners, But Lacks Buzz

Lili's Honest and Unbiased Review

When I first tried Ideogram, I had already heard a lot of good things from creative friends. I quickly saw why they liked it. But lately, it feels like things have slowed down. There haven’t been any big updates or new features, and people don’t talk about it as much as before.

Human Images Stand Out – Ideogram Review

One thing I really enjoy is how Ideogram makes people look in its images. The results feel more real and less polished, like the tarot lady from prompt 2. Other models often make people look too perfect, but Ideogram keeps them more natural.

Some Prompts Miss the Mark

Not every image comes out great, though. Prompt 3 was a bit plain, just some spikey chrome shapes. Prompt 4 was even stranger: it made a cracked phone screen with cotton candy clouds that looked fake, almost like a stage prop. This is one reason why I don’t put Ideogram in my top 5 image generators.

Helpful for Beginners – Ideogram Review

One thing I do like is the magic prompt feature. If you’re new to making images, it adds extra details to your prompt, which can help you learn how to write better prompts. It’s a good way to see what works.

Overall, Ideogram is easy to use and good for learning, but it hasn’t had any big updates lately. If you want to try something simple and see how prompts work, it’s still worth a look.
