Clickup Review: Free Plan Experience

We’re on the free plan, and honestly, the only real issue we’ve had is with the time tracker. You only get 100 uses of the basic time tracking tool, and once you make a time entry, you can’t delete it. I’m pretty sure we’re not the only ones who tried to find a way around this. If you want to chat instantly, Clickup has a chat feature, but I usually just write updates in the task comments. If you prefer, you can connect Clickup to Slack for messaging.

Automations and AI Features in Clickup Review

You can set up automations, like having certain team members automatically assigned to certain tasks, or moving tasks to a different list when they’re finished. The AI tools are fine, but nothing special. Clickup Brain did a good job sorting my urgent tasks by status (like To do or In Progress), but it couldn’t give me a list of tasks that would be overdue by tomorrow. Still, it’s nice that this is included for free.

Overall, Clickup Review: It’s a solid tool for teams who want something simple and clear, especially if you’re just starting out and don’t want to pay right away.
