How It All Started

AI Tools SME was born from a simple frustration: why should only big corporations benefit from AI innovation?

Before launching this site, founder Lili Marocsik worked with major brands like Revolut and HelloFresh, seeing firsthand how large companies leverage cutting-edge technology. But she felt constrained by the "YouTube Expert" label—her ambition to build something bigger had been growing for years.

The breakthrough came when she created her first online course, "AI Tools for SMEs." As this new technology emerged, Lili saw an opportunity to level the playing field for small businesses. The course resonated with thousands of learners, and soon it became clear that a dedicated website would serve this audience even better. That's how aitoolssme.com came to life.

Today, Lili continues testing AI tools daily, sharing technological advancements as they happen. The AI landscape evolves so rapidly that there's always something new to explore and review for our community.

Our Testing Approach

Unlike affiliate-driven review sites, we personally test every tool with standardized prompts and consistent evaluation criteria. I organize the bi-weekly 'AI Enthusiasts' meetup in Berlin—come by and chat with us. Not to brag, but the participants are supreme. Some make it into my interview series 'Spilling the Digital Beans on AI', like Dipanshu Gupta, who shared so much knowledge I should have paid him (don't tell him, though).
